Sadly on Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at 4:38 pm EDT, Bardor Tulku Rinpoche entered parinirvana. On April 8th, one week later, H.E. Garchen Rinpoche and the Garchen Institute Lamas will perform the Lama Chopa puja in honor of Bardor Tulku Rinpoche.
Bardor Tulku Rinpoche was a dear friend of H.E. Garchen Rinpoche. They have shared a very special connection over lifetimes. In their previous lives, Bardor Tulku Rinpoche was Garchen Rinpoche’s root guru.
Garchen Rinpoche asks you all to join in the Lama Chopa puja for Bardor Tulku Rinpoche to pray for his swift return.

Translation
To all the peerlessly compassionate disciples at Kunzang Palchen Ling:
I have just heard that the Lord Refuge Bardor Rinpoche has demonstrated the withdrawal of his rūpakāya; this was related to me by my Lama Namsey Drodül. This news has left me unbearably sad and without recourse.
Rinpoche’s survivors—Lama Tratop, Rinpoche’s consort and daughters, his disciples, and donors: mindful of the impermanence of all composites, please continue to work toward the fulfillment of Rinpoche’s intentions.
So that my offer of heartfelt condolence not be made with empty hands I also offer stainless divine fabric and 3,000 yuan. Please know that I and the sangha of my monastery will continuously perform ceremonial observances, praying for the fulfillment of Rinpoche’s intentions and the swift appearance of the brilliant moon of his rebirth’s face.
