Bardor Rinpoche’s Anniversary Message
Dear friends and students,
Today marks the anniversary of Kunzang Palchen Ling. In past years we have gathered together to celebrate our anniversary by sharing a Guru Rinpoche Tsok, a communal meal, and an empowerment. This year, because of the new coronavirus, which is a pandemic the like of which none of us have experienced in this life, we must remain in our homes, unless we are among our heroic essential workers. Lama Tratop and Lama Nyima will perform the Guru Rinpoche Tsok at 2 PM today in celebration of both our anniversary and Guru Rinpoche Day; I am unable to attend, just like you, because I am staying at home as wisely ordered by our Governor.
I pray constantly for all of you, for both your spiritual growth and your general happiness, health, and well-being. In particular, I offer you all my fervent prayer that this new coronavirus quickly disappear, that all who are ill with Covid-19 quickly recover, and that everyone we have lost to this disease be quickly reborn in a pure realm where even the words virus and disease are not heard!
